Best GTA 6 Major Updates from Take-Two Earnings Call: Release Date, Marketing, AI, and More

So bro, Take-Two Interactive’s earnings call is finally done, and they shared a lot of important details about GTA 6. We got clarity on when marketing will start, which also gives us a hint about Trailer 3, and they even shut down one major leak completely.

On top of that, they also spoke about the GTA producer name that popped up in the Epstein files, bans in GTA Online, AI rumors, physical copies, and much more.
There are a lot of updates, so I’ll go through them quickly. This won’t be a super long one.

Let’s start with the biggest thing first.

GTA 6 Release Date Is Still Locked

In the recent Take-Two earnings call, they once again confirmed that GTA 6 is launching on November 19, 2026.
As of now, nothing has changed. The release date is still fixed.

If anything changes in the future, we’ll obviously see, but for now, November 19, 2026 is locked in.

GTA 6 Marketing Is Starting Soon (Trailer 3 Hint?)

They also confirmed that GTA 6 marketing will begin very soon.

The document you usually see after earnings calls shows everything Strauss Zelnick talked about. He spoke about many business things, other games, and then GTA 6. He clearly said the game is coming on November 19 and that Rockstar’s marketing campaign will start in the summer.

They also mentioned that FY 2027 (ending March 2027) is projected to be a record-breaking year in revenue, which basically means they’re expecting GTA 6 to print money.

Another strong statement came where they said:

“I think you’ll be pretty astonished by the creativity that Rockstar’s marketing team brings to consumers in the coming months.”

Which honestly makes sense.
If you remember GTA 5, they made entire fake websites, applications, phone calls, billboards, banners same with GTA 4. Rockstar always goes crazy with marketing, and GTA 6 won’t be any different.

When Does “Summer” Mean Exactly?

For India, summer feels like it starts around April and goes till June – July.
But in the US, summer officially starts in June and goes till August.

That means GTA 6 marketing should start around June.

And this is why I’ve been saying for a while now Trailer 3 could drop in May 2026.
If Rockstar uploads Trailer 3 around May 26, it basically kicks off marketing right before summer begins.

After that, expect:

Screenshots every few weeks
Billboards popping up
Weird Rockstar-style phone calls
New promotional activities everywhere

Not that GTA 6 even needs marketing — the whole world already knows — but Rockstar will still go all in.

Physical Copy Delay Leak? Completely Denied

There was a leak recently claiming that GTA 6 physical copies might be delayed to avoid leaks and could arrive in 2027.

That rumor has been completely shut down.

When Take-Two was asked if physical copies would be delayed past November 19, Strauss Zelnick simply said:

“That’s not the plan.”

He doesn’t talk much, but when he does, it’s very direct.
So yeah, physical copies are expected on day one.

Which means midnight launches are back.

You can already imagine it November 18 night, 12:00 AM, people lining up outside stores. Mumbai, Delhi, Punjab, everywhere. Long lines, people buying the game, rushing home, installing it, or waiting for it to copy while taking a power nap.

Let’s be honest most people will already have taken a week off from office, school, or college.

GTA Online Bans Explained

They also talked about why players are getting banned in GTA Online.

Recently, players were using the new mission creator to make controversial missions Charlie Kirk-themed modes, Diddy raids, and other stuff. Many players got temporary or permanent bans.

Take-Two’s response was simple:

Rockstar allows creativity
Roleplay and mission creation are fine
But Terms of Service violations are not negotiable

If ToS is violated, action will be taken. No ifs or buts.
Their main focus is player safety.

Fair enough.

GTA 6 Has ZERO Generative AI

This part was honestly huge.

They confirmed that GTA 6 uses ZERO generative AI.
Zero. None.

This matters a lot right now because the gaming industry is filled with AI controversy. Many studios are already using generative AI for voices, assets, and content.

Strauss Zelnick made it very clear:

AI is a tool, not a creator
AI cannot build a blockbuster game on its own
GTA 6’s world is handcrafted

And that word is important handcrafted.

They said GTA 6 is built:

Building by building
Street by street
Neighborhood by neighborhood

Not procedurally generated. Not AI-created.

Honestly, reading this gave goosebumps.
In a time when many studios are chasing shortcuts, Rockstar sticking to handcrafted design puts GTA 6 on a completely different level.
